<\/figure>\n\n\n\nI’m also glad that I slightly remade the bed in my hostel room, because it really didn’t need as much of the covers tucked under the end of the mattress as that; Indeed, those covers are far more use on top of the mattress, so that my shoulders are actually covered by the covers.
Honestly, it’s like they’re trying to short-sheet the bed but don’t quite know how to do it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
Following on from the “bus to the next place” comment above; Something I noticed when travelling around the UK last year is that I don’t really like not knowing where the next place is. I don’t want to plan out the whole trip, but I also don’t want to be feeling anxious about it the whole time, so I’m trying something where I’ll lock in the next place, if I know what it’ll be, as soon as I can, so that hopefully I know where I’ll be and can calm down about it.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n In this case it’s Invercargill, with a plan to visit Stewart Island \/ Rakiura for a few days, because why go all that way for a day-trip?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Day two was a little more structured, in that I went to the Otago Settlers Museum, which ate up a fair chunk of time and was worth the visit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Though I did need to deploy the earplugs on one occasion, not because of the noise from patrons, but because an interpretation\/welcome display right at the start was so loud that I couldn’t read the various panels; Kept losing concentration thanks to the booming soundtrack.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Cathedral, because I thought it looked nice with the blue sky behind it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Railway Station, which I wandered through yesterday but didn’t photograph because of crappy weather.
