Tuesday

Again, mostly images.

Went to the Children’s Museum with Tom in the middle of the day, & caught up with Frank in the late afternoon.

What’s Going Up Today At Gen Con?

This one’s about “multiverse-hopping ninja inspired by Naruto, Stargate and Japanese myth”
To my understanding, this is a remake of an older game. I’m impressed by the range of monsters there, including the hopping vampire.

Children’s Museum of Indianapolis

Probably the best part of the Children’s Museum for me was the parts where you could see paleontologists working on stuff; there was one guy painstakingly scraping limestone off a section of fossilized rib, but what he was mostly doing was outreach and explaining things to the people wondering why. Essentially he just sat by the window into the paleontology lab and chatted with and engaged people as they came up and asked questions.

Back To Gen Con

And still the Gamers gather, …
The R. Talsorian Games room
They were having some issues getting this one level, and the guy at the top there was rapidly approaching theĀ  “climb up here and do it yourself” point. At one stage he did have to yell at the people on the ground to make them shut up and listen to the question he was asking, instead of all of them just calling out advice that wasn’t solving the problem. It must have been as hard as hell up there.
So many fond memories of that game,  and that specific edition of that game.
