Invercargill (again) to Dunedin (again)

Image heavy (again), so there’s a cut (again).

Early bus to Dunedin, but it left from outside the hostel, so I got breakfast in the bar/cafe somewhat associated with the hostel, & waited until the bus arrived.

Once again, taking interesting photos from a bus is challenging.

Rest stop in Balclutha, in a scenic gravel carpark.

The bus on the trip down did come to this place to drop people off, then again to pick up new passengers, but the actual rest stop happened at a nearby service station. This one just stayed in the one place, and people wandered up to a shop/café on the corner.

One of the folks from the hostel on Rakiura had turned up in the hostel in Invercargill, and was also on this bus. I had a moment of “this is getting creepy” when he was also wandering in the same direction as me once we got to Dunedin, and it looked like he was heading for the same hostel, so I branched off to a cafe to kill some time and not seem like a really obvious stalker.

Same hostel as the last one, and the same floor, but a different room; This one had cat pictures. 😁
