Trying Something Different With Edinburgh Photos

On Sunday, my last day in Edinburgh, I got a day pass and rode the tram a lot.

Went to the airport for absolutely no reason beyond “it was there”, and went to Leith/Newhaven because it’s where the other end of the line is.

I’ve been through Edinburgh airport a few times, but never in a circumstance where I could just wander around? I was either arriving at some obnoxious time in the morning for a Work Thing, or leaving at the end of a Work Thing.

It seems nice? There were places to get coffee, and places to sit, so they’re already above a few other airports I can think of.

The weather in Edinburgh could best be described as Foggy for most of the morning, though thankfully it wasn’t that cold.

At the other end of the tram line, plus a short walk, was this wee harbour, Newhaven. I’m pretty sure this is in Leith, but I’m a bit hazy on where the boundaries lie.
