Indianapolis to Columbus

I’d never tried Girl Scout cookies, and this was, I’m assured, a thing which needed to be fixed

It took us a while to find the convention centre once we got situated in the hotel. It’s kind of a maze in places, and the signage, to me at least, works along the assumption that you already know the layout; Directions to specific things in the centre, not to the place itself. The route goes past a convenient food court & another hotel, as you go up & down escalators.

But we found it after asking for directions, and wandered through the gaming hall ( which also had some retailers ), and looked at the games in the display cases.

A venture out into the awful heat outside eventually found a bar, but also an indoor market that was fun to wander through; Somali food across from the American Nut Factory & next to a Cheesemonger, that kind of place.

I’d started developing an annoying sneeze/cough combo, probably as a result of travel, but I was able to find some NyQuil & DayQuil to hopefully bomb it into submission.

As the evening hit, a storm which had previously hit Indiana caught up with us, and we had a great view from the foodcourt as the sky went dark & the rain hammered down.
