Someone put googly eyes on one of the Gen Con promotional posters, which I thought was pretty funny.
And it made me remember this Oglaf comic, which I’m not linking to because these are probably the only safe for work frames of the whole thing.
Seriously, it’s a funny comic, but amazingly not safe for work.
I’ve never played Final Girl, but as I understand it it’s a horror movie game with a bunch of different settings or playsets or something, one of which apparently involves dinosaurs.
The Dungeon Crawler Carl RPG came out, and was very popular, from what I could tell from Facebook/Reddit/Discord.
I’ve not read the novels ( a friend who has read & enjoyed them described them as “entertaining pulp” & wasn’t sure why they became so popular ) and hadn’t even heard of it, so was in a similar state of “What The Hell” when every second post was about the game, or the books.
Just some signs I saw, plus Dog In Cloak Holding Lightsaber.
( Though I have played stuff using the Cypher system – No idea whether the art there is for a specific thing, or it was just some fun art )

Dawn loves Final Girl.
Did she play it a bunch this year?
Or was that last year?
It does look interesting, and I think I saw a display in their store/room with a wall of settings for the thing.
