Christmas Eve

I slept well, and I slept in. The hotel does have a breakfast cafe, but I went elsewhere because it was pretty late by the time I was functional.

I regret none of this.

I have to relate some sad news. Thailand does not have a good mocha game. Best I’ve had was at a Starbucks.
This is, without a doubt, the most refined weed dispensary I’ve ever seen

My thing for today¹ was to visit a sort of art gallery or exhibition space; Kalm Village. A lot of traditional, or derived from traditional, art & design in a very tranquil space. In an odd moment, an Australian woman asked if I thought the shirt she was planning to buy would fit; Not sure I’ve ever been asked for clothing advice by a total stranger before.

¹ I try to do something each day, even if it’s just “sit in a park and read a book”

Not much risk of this here; The only cheese I’ve seen is in 7-11 prepackaged toasties or on burgers/nachos from “western food” restaurants

Dinner was at a place nearby billing itself as an English country-style pub, which seems to mean accommodation, and a combined restaurant & sports bar. But they did a good chicken+cashews.

I liked the simple architecture of the dispensary.
